About Ava

Half French, born in Paris, she speaks French fluently, because although she moved here when she was three, she went to a French speaking primary school in Auckland. Not that this had any influence whatsoever on her being a Miss Auckland 2015 finalist! Bien sûr...

Growing Up

At a very tender age (five) she taught herself Photoshop (in English, we understand) as this was about the only diversion she had when she accompanied her parents to their work, and over the years she has picked up several other Adobe program skills. Some were remarkably useful for her performance classes! No, not really, but both are transformational...

All work & play

Fast forward a decade and a half, and she is currently studying for a Bachelor of Business and Communications degree at AUT. She absolutely adores art history; her favourite periods are proto-Renaissance, High Renaissance, Baroque and Neoclassical art. Nothing over-the-top there, then! In spite of Photoshop, she has spent a great deal of time on stage, and she adores theatre and opera singing.
